New York Foundation Grantee Impact Posters
A commission to design a set of posters that communicate the demographics of New York Foundation grantees and the impact of their community organizing work in the city.
I collaborated with designer and friend, Alice Viggiani, to create three posters to display in the NYF office.
New York Foundation is one of the oldest foundations in the country, supporting community organizing and grassroots advocacy across the five boroughs.

The foundation was looking for an update to an existing poster in their conference room. They had collected three years of demographic data about their grantees and wanted to communicate the impact of their grants in a more effective way.

We worked with NYF to understand the purpose and direction for new posters, from which we created concepts for layouts and narratives. Our design choices were deliberately aligned with their existing brand, and also served to highlight the diverse communities that they work with.
The finished posters were designed to be hung in a row, illustrating the diversity of grantee leaders, where grants are making an impact, the organizing strategies that lead to community wins, and the issue areas in which they enact change.
